How to delete your Q&A W/Me account and what happens to your data

How to Delete Your Account

  1. Sign in to your account on the app or at qawith.me/login
  2. Go to your Profile page
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted

What Gets Deleted

  • Your profile, display name, username, and avatar
  • Your email address and authentication credentials
  • Your notification and email preferences
  • Payment and billing information
  • Any connected platform credentials (YouTube, TikTok, etc.)

Important Notes for Creators

  • If you have upcoming or live events, you must cancel them before deleting your account.
  • If you recently hosted a session and viewers still have access to the recording, your account will be disabled immediately but data deletion will be scheduled for when their access expires.
  • Any session recordings associated with your account will be removed.

What's Kept

Questions and messages you submitted during other creators' sessions will remain as part of the session record. Creators may continue to have access to session recordings that include your questions.

Data Retention

Once your account is deleted, your personal data is permanently removed from our systems. Some anonymized, aggregated data (such as overall platform usage statistics) may be retained, but this data cannot be used to identify you. We may also retain certain records as required by law (e.g., payment transaction logs for tax and accounting purposes).
